Tree Pruning (Crown Reduction)
This is done to reduce the length of the extremities of a tree, therefore reducing its overall height. This can also be carried out to limit the likelihood of a structurally unsound branch falling. Crown reductions contain the growth of a tree and leave a good framework for future development of the crown.
